Hi everyone! I’m Destiny, the face behind Dough by D.
What started as a hobby,honestly kind of got out of control 😂 I’ve always loved baking and sharing what I make with family and friends. But somewhere along the way, people started asking if they could place orders for custom baked goods. What started as doing something I genuinely loved turned into something I never expected!
Truthfully, I never thought I was good enough to sell what I make but I’ve quickly learned that people truly appreciate homemade baked goods made with quality ingredients, creativity, and a whole lot of love.
So I figured it was time for a proper intro…
I’m a small batch home baker based in Round Lake, IL, making all kinds of sourdough and non-sourdough goodies. Everything from artisan loaves and bagels to focaccia, cookies, and custom treats.
By day, I work at a roofing company. By night, I’m usually covered in flour testing a new recipe. Outside of baking, I’m heavily involved with my church and love spending time with my husband, our pets, family, and friends.
Since this all grew so organically, I operate a little differently than a traditional storefront bakery. Everything is made fresh, so I don’t keep a standing inventory. Most orders are pre-order or custom based, but every now and then I’ll post porch pickup days in Round Lake with extra goodies available for first come, first served pickup. (Accepting cash,Zelle and Venmo)
Here are some of the things I’ve made so far:
Sourdough Loaves:
Flavors I’ve made include (but definitely aren’t limited to): classic, mild cheddar & bacon, jalapeño cheddar, pizza loaf, Italian herb, everything bagel seasoning, rosemary olive oil & sea salt, triple cheese, cracked black pepper & parmesan, chive bacon bits & cheese, pepperoni & hot honey, chocolate chip, raspberry white chocolate, double chocolate Reese’s peanut butter, s’mores, butterscotch & milk chocolate, chocolate M&M, cinnamon sugar raisin with glaze, blueberry lemon, rainbow sprinkles, and more!
Sourdough Bagels:
Plain, everything, asiago
Focaccia:
Sweet or savory, fully customizable
Cookies:
Chocolate chip, sugar, peanut butter, oatmeal raisin

Regular Sourdough Loaf: $10
Inclusion Sourdough Loaf : $13
Focaccia (full pan): $20
Cookies:$7 for 4
Sourdough Bagels: $10 for 6
