“We’re heading to Philadelphia”
This weekend we’re bringing Edgewood Studio to one of the country’s great outdoor art festivals—the Manayunk Arts Festival.

We’ll be on Main Street in Booth 303, between Lock Street and Jamestown Avenue, with handcrafted furniture, sculptural accent tables, serving pieces, and custom work inspired by the natural beauty of hardwoods.

We’re headed to Manayunk this weekend!

Join us at the Manayunk Arts Festival on Main Street in Philadelphia, where we’ll be exhibiting a collection of handcrafted furniture, live-edge tables, resin pieces, serving boards, and new custom designs.

Each piece begins with carefully selected hardwoods and is built one at a time in our New Jersey workshop—designed to celebrate the natural beauty of the wood and crafted to last for generations.

In our thick slab waterfall tables we usually use angled domino tenons, but they wouldn’t work here.

The shelves are through-tenoned, so the sides have to slide straight on—no angle to draw the joint together.

Instead of forcing it, I made an L-tenon to make it work cleanly. These are also useful in 3/4” mitered casework edges.

Most people wouldn’t bother with this—would you, or just change the joint?
