Like to hunt? Walk right from the cottage onto public hunting land and the Flambeau River State Forest. The lakeside bedroom features a full-size bed, new bedding, blankets, and pillows. The bunk room features a Full over Full bunk bed rated for 400 pounds on the top bunk. New bedding, pillows, blankets, LED lighting above the lower bunk. The bath has a walk-in shower and ADA toilet for easy access and includes a set of 6 bath towels, 4 washcloths, and 4 hand towels. The kitchen is FULLY furnished with everything you need to feel at home. You will find a coffee pot and filters, crockpot, all cooking, baking, and serving equipment and tools to whip up your favorite meals. Enjoy the sunsets from the 3 season porch, private dock, or the lakeside fire pit. FIREWOOD is NOT included. Lake of the Pines is a 273-acre lake with a maximum depth of 39 feet. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, and Walleye. Enjoy the shallow sandy bottom shoreline. Two inflatable kayaks with a pump and paddles and an aluminum fishing boat with oars are included in the summer rentals. Pontoon boat rental is available for an additional fee & upfront deposit. Reports from all around the lake are saying it locked up!! Looks like the south end just this morning as the ice fog is still hovering. We are off to a great start for the year! Please do not go on the ice as it literally just formed. There are plenty of great local fish frys around, you can wait a week or so for fresh fish 😉
