Hello! My name is Summers Friend Smiling Bohenstiel. Yes, you read that right. I am so happy to introduce myself and I’d like to share some of my story with you.

Ox & Monkey Co. is a dream I have had for a while. My wish is to connect with clients looking for quality work that will stand the test of time. I am a carpenter, musician, artist, designer, and creative consultant. My career runs the gambit. Commercial & residential construction and remodeling,fine woodworking, furniture design and repair, Furniture manufacturing, Trade show displays and exhibits,fine arts, music and performing.

In my career I have worked various different disciplines, but never really felt a gratifying connection to my work. At the age of 50 years, I am looking to close the gap between doing the work and enjoying the work. My vision is to provide quality, service, and products that reflect a client's vision and meet all their needs in beauty, form and function. I have a great deal of experience interpreting and manifesting ideas when I am presented with them and making them a reality.
