Taking a break from our usual programming to share a project that made some little dreams come true.

What was once an unused attic is now a bright, cheerful space designed to grow right alongside these girls. From the blush pink bathroom to plenty of storage for dress-up clothes today and everyday essentials tomorrow, every detail was thoughtfully designed with the future in mind.

Because the best spaces aren’t just beautiful. They grow with the families who use them.

Thinking about transforming an underused space in your home? We’d love to help bring your vision to life.

Built in collaboration with Lynnwood Builders.

But seriously… this is what we do. From commercial architectural millwork and custom cabinetry to feature walls, hospitality spaces, amenity areas, conference tables, and one-of-a-kind residential projects, we build the details that bring great spaces to life. If you’ve got a project in mind, we’d love to talk.

This Charlotte-area project we finished a few years ago was a good one. Featuring a vaulted tongue-and-groove ceiling, oversized faux beams, and custom cabinetry throughout the space.

At the time, this one pushed our team in all the best ways. The beam layout followed the pitch of the ceiling from end to end, which meant every detail had to stay consistent across the entire install. A lot of layout work, a lot of sanding, and a lot of time spent several feet off the ground staring upward.

The weathered gray finish on the beams and spruce cladding brought warmth and texture into the space without making it feel heavy, while the custom cabinetry tied everything together below.

Looking back through the progress shots next to the finished work is always fun because projects like this remind us how much coordination, problem-solving, and craftsmanship goes into the details people now walk past every day without a second thought.

Still proud of this one years later.

What the crew has been waiting for… the results are in.

Drumroll please…. Sam, our shop drawings guy nailed pulling a blind 12 inches on the tape measure. Maybe we should put him in the shop more?

What do you think we should give him for a prize?

Last week we told you to look up.
This week… watch your step.

These solid black walnut treads carry you up to reception at Koury Corporation in Greensboro—step by step, landing by landing.

Framed by that lit K-wall and metalwork from Viator Construction and designed by Stitch Design Shop.

Technical. Demanding. Not a simple install.
It’s the kind of challenge our crew leans into.

Worth every step.

Sunnyside started with a young family just trying to make ends meet.

Now it’s about building something people want to be part of.

This little guy is part of the reason we’re all here, working hard to build something more than just woodwork.

Starting this one from the top down.

1500+ sq ft of ceiling work at Koury Corporation’s offices… and yeah, it’s doing the absolute most.

Angles on angles, all tying back to the “K” concept dreamt up by Stitch Design Shop. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it.

Took some serious planning, fabrication, and install coordination to make it all land clean overhead.

We enjoyed working with Kontoor Brands (Wrangler, Lee, Helly Hansen) at their Greensboro HQ on a series of millwork projects, including this feature wall that’s doing the absolute most… in a good way.

Wood on wood, layered for depth, with metallic gold tones set against a dark backer to give it that dimensional, almost shifting look depending on where you’re standing.

Not just something to look at. Something you feel when you walk past it.

Also built out amenity spaces throughout the office, including staff kitchens and a few other spots we’ll share as we keep photographing and working through the space.

More to come on this one and looking forward to many more projects coming up.
