Wow! It looks like we haven't posted since we were shut down for the pandemic!!

In case you were worried - Still River Antiques is still going strong. We are part of The Hitchcock Chair Co., and consequently are experts at restoring any Hitchcock piece that you currently, and will also do restoration work on pieces that were not made by Hitchcock.

This is the only place where you can have your Hitchcock pieces restored completely - including repainting the iconic stencils.

In accordance with the request of the Governor of the State of Connecticut, our retail location, restoration, and manufacturing divisions will be closing to regular business for at least next two week beginning Monday, March 22.

We will still be keeping an eye on email, phones, and Facebook through the shutdown, so if you have any questions please give a yell and leave a message. May not get the call in real time but we will try and get back to you as best we can.

If you have new or restored pieces that you need to pickup, again please contact us and we will try and arrange to reunite you with your furniture.

In the ever ongoing adventure that is "reaching people" we're expanding our horizons a bit and actually are going to be featuring pieces on Craigslist.
