Fall open houses are happening in Willshire later this week. The Three-Thirteen Company, Blackcreek Peddler, and Willshire Home Furnishings will all be ready to see you for all of your Fall decorating needs! It is well worth your drive to our little village. Come early for breakfast at Becky's Village Restaurant, save room for ice cream at the Willshire Drive In after shopping is complete. If you haven't "liked" the pages of the businesses, now is a good time. It's a great way to keep up to date!

These windows!! I love them!! They are very similar to the size of the original store front. My stressor..........the windows were not installed until the Wednesday of the week that we opened. Installed ​on Wednesday, Thanksgiving and store set up on Thursday, Grand Opening on Black Friday of 2014. Moeller's Door and Windows did a great job!!!! Just the look that I wanted.

Thanks so much for all of the kind words and well wishes! Stop and see us for a last trip to Lillie's. We will be here today until 2, Wednesday and Thursday until 5.

A favorite time of mine is when my girls "stop in" to see me, when I really know that they are more interested in a piece of candy. Adria and Mia are the most frequent visitors to the candy counter. Buckeyes are their favorite candy. My dad is frequent quality control expert as well.

Remember, the new owners, Jeff and Jean Leary, will be reopening on Saturday, June 24th at 9 AM. Make sure you plan to visit The Three-Thirteen Company. I know that you'll LOVE it!

Please Like and Share!! THANKFUL and BLESSED - two words that I use to describe how I'm feeling right now. THANKFUL and BLESSED to have a loving and gracious God. THANKFUL and BLESSED to have a loving family. THANKFUL and BLESSED to have so many wonderful friends. THANKFUL and BLESSED to be able to have the opportunity to be involved in our community. THANKFUL and BLESSED to have a career that I love. THANKFUL and BLESSED to have had the opportunity to dream, develop, and share Lilies Tin Ceiling with all of you.
As some of you may already be aware, Lynne and I are in the process of selling Lillie's. As I sit here at 11:00 looking at the sink full of dishes, the island filled with more dishes to be washed, laundry waiting to be washed, dried, re-fluffed for the umpteenth time, I realize how BLESSED that I am. I have a husband that, for some crazy reason, joins in on my crazy ideas and still loves me. I have four kind and beautiful girls that are filled with love, some eye rolling, and so much joy for living. I realize that I have a great family of parents, siblings, siblings- in-law, and nieces and nephews. I also realize that Lynne and I only have one opportunity to raise our sweet girls and that time is quickly passing before or eyes.
"Lillie" is our fifth girl. The sixth girl that Lynne interacts with daily. We, ok Lynne and everyone else already knew this - I just had to finally admit it, need to keep focused on the things that are our top priorities - God and family. We have been BLESSED and are THANKFUL that a local family will be purchasing our business. Our last day is tentatively Thursday, June 15. The new owners plan to open up on Saturday, June 24th. The name will be new, "The Three-Thirteen Company", but other than that there will not be much change other than some additional lines of merchandise. Yes, they will still have the candy. Yes, they will still have the Ella B candles. Yes, they will still carry the style of merchandise that you have enjoyed shopping for at Lillie's. The new owners are planning to add painted and repurposed furniture. Other lines are planned as well.
I appreciate the friendships, support, cheerleaders, and all of you that have shopped at Lillie's over the past three years. I would ask that you also be a friend, a support, a cheerleader, and a shopper to those at The Three-Thirteen Company.
Please look for and share some upcoming posts over the next week as I share a few of my favorite memories associated with Lillie's.

Booster seat and car seat check today until 11 AM at the fire station in Willshire. Van Wert County Sheriff's Department is conducting this free service. A great service to utilize.
