It’s been such a happy, emotional day for us all. We’re so in love with Tanon. 🥰
This hasn't been easy for Connie. She’s never spent more than four days away from him, let alone this far away. She’s doing this for us so Tanon can get to know this side of the family. I couldn’t be more grateful to have her in our lives. We’ll tell Tanon about Cameron when he’s older. He never met Tanon, but he loved him so much.

Something happened on our way home tonight. Who am I now? 🤷‍♀️

We went home a different way than normal, and I noticed a girl who was obviously in active addiction on the corner.

She was flagging down potential Johns. 😢

I had one box of Narcan left in the cooler we normally have filled. (It was a good day, and I was able to give a lot out.)

So I grabbed it and jumped out of the truck at the light, gave it to her, and told her to please be safe and that help is available anytime she wants it.
And to also remember that she is loved. 💜

Of course, I was prepared for the next part... 🙄🥴

Which was her asking me for money and a ride to go buy ci******es. 🤦‍♀️

My client found this gorgeous French provincial dresser for free!
She wanted it to have a paint wash over the wood, with the wood showing through.

I used a soft gray that coordinates with her other pieces. And she kept the same Hardware but I updated it with a little silver Rub and Buff.

We're still waiting for a seal to add to his diploma from the umbrella group we were under.

Homeschooling was the best decision we ever made. ❤️
