🚨 MILD hearing loss is still hearing loss. 👂

I think the word ‘MILD’ sometimes gives people permission to dismiss it.

“It’s only mild.”

“I’m not bad enough yet.”

“I’ll deal with it when it gets worse.”

Let’s think about the way we approach the rest of our health.

If your doctor tells you you’re prediabetic or catches glaucoma or macular degeneration in its early stages, would your response be, “Let’s wait until it gets bad before we do anything about it”?

Of course not. We value early detection and proactive care.

Your hearing health deserves that same mindset.

If you’re already asking people to repeat themselves, turning the TV up, missing softer voices, or noticing that conversation takes more effort, your hearing is already affecting your everyday life.

Be proactive, not reactive.

You don’t have to wait until hearing becomes difficult to take care of your hearing health.

Hearing healthcare is not.

When you come to see me, I’m not simply a ‘vendor’ selling you a device.

I’m your hearing healthcare provider. 👩🏻‍⚕️ 👂🏼 🩵

My value isn’t in the hearing aid sitting in the box.

It’s in understanding your hearing, educating you about your options, fitting and programming your technology appropriately, protecting the hearing you have, and continuing to care for you long after the hearing aids leave the office.

You can buy a hearing aid from a lot of places.

But hearing aids are only part of better hearing.
