Felt a little nostalgic working on this piece. My sister and I shared a room when we were kids all the way until I left home for college. This chest sat between our beds. It stored Barbies, toys, blankets and was the best hiding place for hide and seek. Now....she has a new look and will look beautiful in my parent's living room. Swipe to see the before.

Used a mash-up of products, but the star of the show was Wise Owl Chalk Synthesis Paint in the color Tumeric. ❤️

Oh 2021...what can I say. Those who know me know that this year was...well, quite frankly...sad. I felt extreme loss and also lost my desire to paint. Many months I could not will myself to pick up a brush and continue. However, recently it occurred to me how happy I feel when I am creating. The joy of getting lost in paint, colors and music has come back. I have scaled back quite a bit...however, it feels so good to be painting again.
Here's to 2022...I hope this post finds each of you bringing colors back into your life and holding on to your loved ones tight. ♥️

Talk about a statement piece! This little oak cabinet needed a new look. Add a few colors of paint, sprinkle in some texture, seal it up and *boom* a gorgeous, functional piece of art.

Did some spring cleaning this past weekend, gearing up for being able to work in my garage with the nice weather upon us. I maaaay or maaay not have quite a bit of furniture just waiting to be painted in stock. Especially since this picture doesn't include my shed. 🤷🏻‍♀️😁
