We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Designer/ Engineer to add to our current Millwork team. Working closely with project managers and the fabrication teams. Kitchen Design Engineer is responsible for selecting project finishes, detailed CAD drawings, and creating shop drawings for production. May need to complete field dimensions.
Essential Functions
• Must be able to work with the office employees, as well as production staff.
• Must be able to work directly with customers to find out there needs and budgets.
• Visit job sites to gather field dimensions to ensure designs fit the space and can be delivered and installed without issues.
• Create detailed CAD shop drawings.
• Able to generate 20/20 Kitchen Renderings.
• Able to use Excel/Google Sheets for job tracking and time management.
• Must be able to schedule installation teams and contact customers to make sure project will end smoothly.
Requirements
3-5 years experience in equivalent field.
License is required. Some traveling is also required.
