RAINFALL FORECAST - Latest model guidance continues to show the heaviest rain from soon-to-be Ophelia will fall Friday and Saturday in eastern North Carolina. In our area, a few spots could get 1-2" of rain, mainly east of a line from Lumberton to Myrtle Beach. Most areas though will likely get less than 1". Best chance of rain looks to be Friday evening and night. As usual, I'll watch the trends and adjust if necessary.

Hi everyone! Our season will start up tomorrow at Sunset Summer Market at Sunset Beach, NC> it's a great market, lots of vendors, lots of shade, good place to shop. Hope to see lots of you there! Come on down and browse around then maybe go down on the beach to finish your day. We open at 9am and close at 1pm, so lots of time to walk around and hopefully find something to suit your fancy.

We had to cut our season short last year in order to help a friend with repairs to his home flooded by Hurricane Florence. Charlie has also been working on a building to display his products at home. We will be doing the Sunset Beach Summer Market on Thursdays starting in May. Hope to see yall there.

Well, our season is starting back up beginning with the 10th Annual Southern Farm Days at the Boys & Girls Homes Arena, Lake Waccamaw, NC. This year they are holding a 3-day show from Friday through Sunday, March 16th, 17th, and 18th. We will be there with some new birdhouse styles. Hope you can come and join in the festivities.

Chalies Barn will be in downtown Wilmington on Water Street tomorrow Sept. 9th at the Wilmington Farmers Market. The weather is gonna be great - mostly sunny- upper 70's- good NE breeze. Good for browsing around the different products the market has to offer from several different crafts, produce, plants, cut flowers, baked goods, doggie treats, meats, seafood, honey-the list goes on and on! Hope to see you there!

Barn will be on Water Street in downtown Wilmington at the Artisan Market tomorrow from 10am until 3:30pm, located in front of the federal court house. There are roughly 21 artisan vendors.
