While harvesting a woodlot two years ago, we realized we cut down a tree with a honey bee hive in it. We stood the tree back up, secured it in the crotch of another tree with hope the bees would not abandon the hive. Today, the landowner checked on the hive. The bees did not abandon the hive and they are thriving.

It’s always nice when you get to work on the woodlots that are in your backyard.
