I started building furniture and other similar items many years ago, but began to really fine tune my ideas and skills when I purchased my first home in February of 2016. Having graduated from college in August 2015, my fiance and I moved to Cincinnati in February so I could take a new job. This big move, from Northwest Indiana to Cinc

innati, left me needing to fill our new house with furniture and with lots of time on my hands. Eventually, I learned that I truly enjoyed building items for our home and working with my hands- it became my way to decompress after a long day or week at the office. I soon went from building pieces for my own house to building for our family, friends, and coworkers; ultimately, this aided the decision to dedicate more time and effort to this passion and start our Etsy Shop: Urban ReSource Designs

I invite to take a look around our shop and tell us what you think, we love to receive feedback. If you don't see something that catches your eye, check back often we are working weekly to add new pieces that we think will look great in your home. Our creative passion really revolves around making new items out of old ones. All of the items we make are inspired by something we found at a salvage store, back alley, dumpster, flea market, or someones old garage. The coolest thing about building something is the story that comes with it when you use materials that are salvaged, re-purposed, or recycled. We tend to combine a lot of different design elements when we build and design new items, but like to think our particular style of design is one that is focused on giving old things new stories. Please feel free to ask any questions you have, we love talking to people and can't wait to hear from you.
