Finished up a 45 inch solid pecan coffee table. Legs are 2.75 inch solid slabs with a 4 inch post mortised in for stability. 2.25 inch solid pecan top.

The finish is colored with iron acetate to react to the wood tannins. This caused that old age brown to replace the reds and pinks in the pecan without using a stain to hide the grain.

What do you think of the color. I kinda like it.

Spalted pecan base and a highly figured water oak top. Finish came out beautiful.
