My garden was a MESS this year (seriously overgrown!), but the asparagus beds are officially refreshed for winter.

The ferns died back, so I cleaned out all the debris and topped them with compost. Before it gets too cold, I'm adding a final layer of garden debris on top to really keep them insulated and cozy.

The rest of the garden is still giving me side-eye, though. Future me problem!

Fresh Chicken Eggs Available!

It’s in the name, after all. When you get your eggs straight from the hen house, you know exactly where they’ve been. There’s no processing, shipping, or shelf life unlike supermarket eggs. As a result, the eggs have a richer color, both in the shell and the yolk. They also have a richer, more flavorful taste.

Chickens free range daily and have limited access to non GMO corn/soy free feed.
