We’ve been hard at work building rich natural compost here at Timber Lake Bluff using garden waste, natural materials, and a little help from the goats. Healthy soil means healthier plants, stronger gardens, and a more sustainable homestead.

Nature doesn’t waste anything,
and neither do we. 🐐🌿

🐝 It’s been a busy week here at Timber Lake Bluff Bee Recovery!

We’ve been out helping rescue and relocate several swarms across the area. Springtime is prime swarm season — when healthy colonies naturally split to start new hives. While it can be surprising to find a ball of bees hanging in your yard, swarming bees are typically very gentle (they’re just looking for a new home).

If you spot a swarm or notice bees moving into a structure, don’t panic — give us a call! We safely and ethically relocate honeybees so they can continue their important work in a better-suited environment.
