What does a small business owner make?

We make joy. We make trust. We make inspiration, connection, community and the little experiences that make a town feel like home.

And yes, we need to make money too. Not simply for ourselves, but to keep our doors open, employ local people, support other makers and continue creating the kind of downtown we all say we want.

We are heading into the quietest season of the year, and this is when your support matters most. Stop in. Bring a friend. Choose a gift from a local shop. Share a post. Tell someone about a place you love.

You do not have to spend a fortune to make a difference. But choosing local, intentionally and consistently, is what keeps the heart of a town beating.

We will be resetting the store for fall and getting ready for the holidays. This week we are closed to the public. But don’t let that stop you if you need a gift or want to meet to review furnishings. Our offices are right upstairs and we will open the shop for our loyal customers anytime. You may even find me hiding in there 🤫
