Today is the 10th anniversary of Neat Fleet!
I wanted to thank my employees for their hard work and dedication.
I’d also like to thank my clients. Without their loyalty, Neat Fleet wouldn’t have gotten here.
Neat Fleet started out as a single mom trying to put food on the table with no employees. We have grown to become a corporation in two states with 12 employees. 
Thank you for the last 10 years and here’s to many more!

A huge thank you to our amazing manager Todd. Today we celebrate his 1 year anniversary with the company. Thank you, Todd for all of your hard work and for being such an amazing leader.

This week- I had to lay three people off due to continually not following directions, as well as lack of working. Two of the 3 new people I hired as replacements no showed. Mind you this is after I verified they’d be there the night before. The third new hire called out sick on the fourth day. One power washer broke down, the second that one was fixed the second power washer broke down. There’s a new manager at one of my contracts. As we were washing, he came out and told us to stop because they are looking to, “cut costs”. But they love our work! Driver at another contract accused my old employees of stealing his belongings yet half of his belongings were in the belongings trailer?? Another contract called complaining because the wheels & gas tanks weren’t bright enough. Mind you on the initial bid wheels & tanks were never discussed or included. Luckily I have an amazing supplier who had the perfect chemicals. Sunday employee no shows which means I drop everything & go to work. Half of the trailers we are supposed to wash out are not pulled out far enough for us to access them. It’s weeks like these where people who are self employed quit. I choose to learn, adapt, and fight. I choose to Never Quit!

Huge thank you to all of my Utah employees who made it to work today after a crazy snow storm. Trees down, roads still not plowed, snow piled up everywhere yet they all made it. I have the best employees!

Today for World Gratitude Day I’d like to thank my hard working phenomenal employees who go above and beyond. I can call on them, and they will always rise to the occasion. They are dependable, reliable, hardworking, and fun to work with.
Thank you to my mom for helping to raise my kids when I was a single mom & couldn’t be there when I wanted to be. As well as currently filling in when I have to travel for work or have a long workday. Because of her my children never had to come home to an empty home.
Thank you to my dad for instilling the fire in me as a child by telling me if I wasn’t successful it was because I didn’t want it. He knew I had the drive, and ability. He never let me forget that. He would also drop everything to come and fix equipment as it broke knowing I could not afford to hire someone. He still fixes my equipment.
I’d like to thank my children for standing by my side and supporting me. For working when I could not afford employees. They helped to put food on our table and a roof over our heads.
Thank you to my husband for encouraging me to grow my business. Having joy in my accomplishments & supporting me during the hard times. I can honestly say he has joy in my joy. I now know what a true partner & love is.
Thank you to all of my contracts. For giving us an opportunity. For allowing a woman owned business in a male dominated field.
Without all them this company wouldn’t be here. I wouldn’t be here, we wouldn’t be here. For all of this I am truly grateful. Thank you!

The most important quality’s in employee’s I have found to be are integrity, honesty, adaptability, a work ethic, and reliability. Without mutual trust, there’s nothing to gain. If they can’t adapt you can’t grow. If they aren’t reliable there’s no reason to hire them. If they won’t work then you can’t grow.

Detailer-

Details and refurbishes used Semi Trucks. Drive trucks through car wash.

Availability must be~

Monday-Friday 8 am-4pm.
Saturdays-on call

Starting pay $18.00-$20 an hour based on experience

Responsibilities-

Semi Truck Detailer & Semi Trailer Interior/Exterior Cleaner:

* Vacuum interior of Semi to remove loose dirt and debris, using vacuum cleaner.
* Semi truck driving experience would be a plus!
* Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
* Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot and stain resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components.
* Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
* Use UV light to kill germs
* Wash out interiors of semi trailers
* Ability to work independently, follow directions, and multitask
* Be self motivated and have a strong work ethic
* Follow opening and closing procedures
* Reliable transportation & must have a cell phone. Communication is huge
* Clean driving record
* Must be able to work independently

This is what I’ve implemented within my company. I want my employees to have a life. I want to my employees to have time with their family. I’ve told employees who want to work every day no. Your family needs you!
I’ve been a single mom. I know what it’s like to be asked to drop everything on a moments notice and It’s not fair! I’ve seen it cause less creativity, productivity, and builds resentment. I’ve always said & believe family first. One of my favorite quotes from my dad, ”Work hard play harder.”
I hope more employers implement this.
