Not installing to many gates these days but this one I did tonight was a challenge for sure. The unique stair case and bannister setup in this house was difficult to design around but we got it done and we’ve got another safe baby running around. A personal refinishing project I forced myself to do so I could make more room in my shop. These barrister’s were given to my grandparents as a wedding gift and were in my grandmothers spare bedroom my entire life. They spent a few bad years in my shop collecting sawdust so this refinish was actually one of the tougher ones I’ve done. Refinishing old well made furniture is like therapy.
