With 20 days left in New York this Beautiful Hutch is Complete & Ready to be SOLD. It’s a German Style Hutch painted in Amsterdam Green Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and Waxed in Annie Sloan Clear & Black Wax. I absolutely ❤️ this piece!! It’s gonna make a wonderful statement piece!!

Painted Curio Cabinet in Benjamin Moore Abyss. My kind neighbor gave this to me, of course, I had to paint it! Currently downsizing some of my belongings for our upcoming move back West. This piece is being sold for $140 in the NY area!!

This hutch was needing some TLC and took awhile to complete with virtual school, Christmas Festivities, Birthday’s and the usual household mom jobs 😂 The veneer was peeling in the worse way from too much moisture exposure and the door that originally came with the piece no longer functioned. I began working on this piece by removing the veneer, sanding and filling in any imperfections that I could. I then mixed 1/2 white paint and 1/2 Olive Annie Sloan Chalk Paint for the interior. I painted the exterior in Annie Sloan’s Olive Chalk Paint with some light sanding and waxing using Annie Sloan’s clear and dark wax. New k***s were added as well. There still are some imperfections, but I would like to think that it adds to the character of the piece...tells it’s story. This piece is being sold for $170 in regards to it’s imperfections with an additional delivery fee if you happen to be in the NY area.

SOLD-Oak Broyhill Armoire painted in Annie Sloan Graphite, Aubusson Blue, Olive and Amsterdam Green Chalk Paint. Sanded and Waxed with Annie Sloan Clear Wax. This piece would look great in any room!!

Working on these two projects intermittently...taking awhile because LIFE with 6 KIDS, one dog and virtual school gets chaotic 😂 The FABRIC came in today so, I am excited to get these chairs DONE!! The paint color is Oxford Navy and Old White in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.

Vintage Huntley Chest of Drawers painted in Annie Sloan Olive, Aubusson Blue and Amsterdam Green. All three colors were blended and waxed in Clear & Dark Annie Sloan Wax. This piece SOLD quick, but that doesn’t mean I can’t paint another 😉👍🏽

This Hutch SOLD last week!! The story is actually quite sweet...a devoted HUSBAND surprised his WIFE by purchasing this hutch after he noticed she could not stop talking about it the night before!!! (this is after she had bought the secretary desk in the previous post)👉🏽 It made my heart swell to hear how thoughtful the husband was in regards to his wife’s feelings!!!❤️ I want to say THANK YOU to all the thoughtful husbands out there who encourage their spouse to buy BEAUTIFUL things!!!

I should have staged this piece better, it was well deserved, it served our family well during its THIRD life!! 😂 You see I had Dallas pick it up curbside, it was once a ugly secretary hutch desk. But, I envisioned more...I had Dallas saw off the hutch portion, which was no longer intact. It wasn’t a perfect piece, but had a lot of character!! In my attempts to declutter my already furniture filled home I sold it and I am so glad I did!! The lady who bought it, loved it...for all it’s flaws and personality!! Here’s to loving older neglected pieces of furniture and making them BEAUTIFUL!!

I haven’t been able to paint as much as I usually do...MOM Life & Virtual School...but I have been able to steal away a couple quiet moments to read. If you haven’t heard of The Nester aka Myquillyn Smith, she has the greatest Home Decor Books!! This Book “Welcome Home” is her newest addition...she has so many great ideas and is really down to earth!! Anyway...thought I would share 👍🏽

The Buffet is DONE!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽 I am happy with how it turned out!! It needed some serious TLC, can you remember the before? (View In previous post👉🏽) I painted the buffet in Annie Sloan Old White and Paris Grey. The buffet is now for sale!! Thanks Dallas for helping me make repairs ❤️, you make this dream of mine possible.
