We apologize for the temporary inconvenience at our Waln Street entrance. A vendor hit and broke one of our very large plate glass windows while making a delivery. Our excellent contractor is replacing this very large window and making needed repairs to the 60-year-old supports in this historic building under difficult conditions. He has created a temporary structure to protect the building, its contents, and pedestrians during this large window replacement. There are no changes being made to the building -it is a window replacement only. The contractor has been in contact with the borough and the county building code enforcement agency. A representative from both organizations have subsequently stopped by to check on the project. They are aware of the project its scope and the timeline. Due to the size of the piece of glass needed the glass vendor has to get a piece of glass directly from the manufacturer, causing this job to take longer than we would like. Thank you to our contractor for his excellent work under difficult conditions in a historic building and thank you to all in Wellsboro for your patience while we make this obviously necessary repair in a safe manner.

At long last we have furniture.....85 pieces to be exact! We are selling from our stock, but we need a few days to unpack 50 or so before we are ready, so please be patient. If you are waiting for a special order from BEST HOME FURNISHINGS that was placed in December or January, we will call you a soon as we've found your pieces.
