The correct answer is β€œI can’t tell!” Just installed these custom fridge door faces to match the existing cabinetry in our neighbor’s home. 🏑

When I made the leap to move my business out of our townhome garage and into an actual rented workshop, this was one of the first promo videos I paid for announcing that move.

It’s funny how much can change in a decade. The style of my woodworking has definitely evolved and elevated. I no longer white wash every build or sell end tables on Etsy. I no longer accept every single custom order request, regardless of the price. And I no longer think I can handle every single piece of this business by myself.

But so much of it is still the same. I still walk out to the workshop to use my own two hands everyday. To make quality pieces my customers will love and won’t ever have to throw away. I still put in way more hours than I ever did at a 9-5. And I still have an obsession with collecting trees and tools. The basics remain.

Trends change with the years. Craftsmanship and grit never does.
