Today I said goodbye to one of my favorite people who had a special connection to my professional side and my family. Joanne Jump was one of my favorite designers to work with. Always had unique projects. Whenever I would I would stop by to pick up fabric, work order etc the visit would turn into a gab fest. Coffee cookies etc. What started as a professional relationship turned into a friendship. She made an impact with my oldest son and would always send postcards from her Singapore visits when she visited her daughter. She was so excited to take part in his wedding. She also played a part in our adoption of my youngest son. When I asked if she would write a recommendation letter she said yes immediately. Definitely one of the best!

This sofa and chair I inherited from my grandmother. This is the fourth time I’ve upholstered both pieces and this probably will be the last. Next up a different wall color and new rug.

The decorator sent the chair out be painted and the painter threw all the padding away and even the back pillow UGH 😡 So with without a pattern to make the back pillow and with some trial and error I was able to fabricate a new pillow. Decorator happy, client happy a win, win for me

What a fun fabric! Love the look of the plain chartreuse fabric on the inside against the floral with the bugs.
