Do you ever wonder how I get to first 2 pictures. I start out with the the next 7 pictures it’s a lot of milling measuring and sanding not to mention the finishing. But for me I like taking a raw slab and doing it all myself and making something beautiful. Every piece I create is a labor of love . I will admit sometimes I am frustrated at the end but I still love what I do. The raw wood in the last 7 pictures is sycamore and is going to be another bookcase. Here are a few things I’m working on in the shop right now. The round one is gonna be a lazy Susan that’s Maple Burl.The rectangular one with the green epoxy is going to be a charcuterie board and that’s also maple burl. The black walnut rectangular live edge is going to be an end Table Top and the last one the Cherry is also going to be an end Table Top I will be constructing the legs myself if you or anybody you know would like something like these please feel free to contact me here or at 828-734-1849. Just finished up 2 more end grain cutting boards. The lighter one is 19 1/2x 13 and the other one is 17 1/2 x 13. They are both made of locally sourced wood . Cherry, Black Walnut and Sycamore. Just finished up and delivered this countertop to a client who asked me to fix it. It was in rough shape had to resand it and then pour another layer of tabletop epoxy and it came out great!
