Did you know: “Ponte” in Italian means bridge, and it was inspired by the bridge photographed here! It was built in 1762 and connects the two sides of my childhood valley. Countless memories were spent in this park: from walks with dogs and friends, to school trips and picnics on the rocks by the rivers. It is one of my favorite places in the entire world.

This is my go-to hand plane. A Stanley N.4 that I picked up at a garage sale, it's always the first tool I pack.

It was not in horrible conditions (last three photos), but it definitely needed some TLC. I completely stripped the old paint, sanded and refinished the original rosewood tote and k**b, sharpened the blade and painted it... green?!

I'm not a purist when it comes to tool restoration (the original Stanley color is a black enamel), but I love it and I learned that this chromatic choice is a good conversation starter :)

When building this bespoke wooden case for the I wanted to push myself to use as many non-traditional woodworking techniques as possible. It is fully designed in CAD, machined using a CNC and engraved with a laser cutter!

Here's the thing about me... I love boxes, I love pretty wooden things and... I love gaming! So when I saw a concept for a bespoke wooden case I knew I had to build my version too!
Of course I had to show love to two of the best gaming franchises, by engraving like the Hyrulian Crest from and ' mushroom.

Celebrating autumn with this keepsake box I built during my course at last August. I'm stoked to have finally tried parquetry, the mesmerizing technique used in the lid of the box.

My wife is a photographer. When she transitioned to photographing full-time, she realized her older system for organizing memory cards was’t cutting it and asked me to think through a better solution. I designed this slick angled tray that held two 3D-printed compartments, for "in-use" and "empty" cards respectively.

I like that this product added a methodical approach to the storage of photos while they are being processed, and tray can stay on the desk without cluttering the workspace.

Moreover, the contrast between the hand-cut mahogany and the machined-made plastic compartment brings out a fun juxtaposition that can also be found in photography itself, with the artistic eye of the photographer meeting the highly technological and precise hardware and software used to bring the final picture to life.

Organization to me is not just about increasing productivity, but making it more pleasant to spend your working hours.

I love how this Ambrosia Maple and steel bookcase turned out!

This project took a drastically different turn from its original sketches, and thank goodness. After a couple of iterations of box-y, brutalist, utilitarian plywood-built concepts that I came up with, the client who commissioned the bookcase asked for recommendations to an architect friend who designed this beauty. It was a humbling yet refreshing change of course, since it came at a moment when I was incredibly overwhelmed at the idea of needing to be "good at everything" to be a successful craftsperson. I'm super thankful for this collaboration and the learning experience!
