I wanted some bunk beds since my Grandson stays over a lot. I wanted something strong enough for me to be able to sit on and not worry about falling thru so I knew I had to make it instead of buy it. Plus it had to be blue, my son loves blue. Not in this picture but I did add a small shelf with a cup holder to the top. Also changed out the ceiling fan with a smaller enclosed ceiling fan so no one gets hit by a spinning blade.
