Found a 3-piece set of Saturn Pink, Samsonite, luggage at an estate sale today💗 They were super dirty (the large case is still awaiting a polish) but these two cleaned up nice!

Got this at a garage sale for $15 😍 Going to give it a clean, address some small repairs and then refurbish to its original stain.
My neighbor stopped me the other day and let me know her father had passed and they were selling some items that did not sell during their estate sale. I always feel a sense of sadness walking through and scouting furniture that was, at one point, a piece of someone’s life. I’d like to keep this one, and hopefully appreciate it the way the original owner had. ♥️

New furniture! I will be holding on to this project as it belonged to my late aunt, Cheryl Higgs. I also won’t be making any drastic changes to it as I want to hold on to the essence of the piece.
My aunt passed away this month after a long battle with cancer. I’m going to avoid the phrase, “she lost her battle,” because I don’t believe that to be so. When the body dies, so too does the cancer. It was a draw, and she fought fiercely to the end. She was funny and witty, she loved to love (she loved boasting about and celebrating her family any chance she could). She was more to me than an aunt; she was a mother, a sister and a friend all wrapped in to one. ♥️

Purchased this at an estate sale yesterday without realizing it was located in West Virginia. Depending on shipping costs, I may be holding on to this one. 😂🥲

Picked up a new project today that will be for sale in the near future - also available for custom order if desired. I love these pieces because, in my opinion, they don’t need much exterior work as they are already beautiful as is (a concept lost on many of us) ♥️

This piece took me longer than I expected.

After losing [another] close friend to addiction I lost interest in a lot of things that I love. But it’s a new year and it’s time to push forward.

I really love the two-tone look; definitely expect to do this more in the future.😍

A before and after of a FB marketplace coffee table I refinished for my parents. (Ignore the raggedy couches in the background, they have taken a good beating from my horse-dogs)

This piece gave me a lot of trouble, mainly the top was a POS and did not want to take the gel stain I was applying - I ended up stripping it 3 times before I decided on a full coal black.
