You ever make something that you didn’t want to sell and keep for your self? Well this live edge cherry wood bowl was almost one, but I fought the urge and just added it to the shop. Check out the bark on this one. It definitely has a lot of that one of a kind character to it. Side note, Hope everyone had a great Christmas!

It’s getting closer. I need one more day tomorrow to finish sanding and work on the fine details / finish the wood before I add this one to my store. I’m really hoping a candle in the middle will reflect a neat tree on the wall near by.

Sorry I haven’t been getting much done as I’m dealing with a broken wrist that’s been slowing me down, but here is a sneak peak of what I’m working on now. It’s a rough carving on a live edge bowl. I’m going to clean it up and add some details with some hand tools once I get it roughed out. Should have a finished product pretty soon so stay tuned.

Workin on another Live edge bowl today. Just need another coat or two of finish and it will be complete. Love the sap ring on this cherry wood. The natural two tone looks nice if you ask me.
