Ready for a change of pace? Do you have a finish carpentry background? Have you ever wanted to learn finish carpentry?

We’re expanding our crew and welcome inquiries from applicants from entry level through experienced craftspeople who are dependable and have honesty, passion and pride in their work.

We build custom interiors for some of the finest sportfishing yachts around from our home base in Wanchese, North Carolina.

Qualities we’re looking for:
– Great attitude
– Willingness to learn something every day
– Ability to work well as part of a team and unsupervised when needed
– Safely operate tools of the trade (training provided)
– Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.; walk up and down stairs and ladders; work in spaces that include an open shop, tight areas in boats and occasionally outside
– Aptitude for creative problem solving with a team as well as taking direction

We’re looking for a carpenter with cabinetry experience preferred. Majority of work in marine, some residential and commercial. Working knowledge of power tools and how to use them safely needed. Must have great attitude, willingness to learn and take instruction, and ability to work as a team as well as independently. Must have drivers license and transportation and be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Position primarily based in Wanchese Monday-Friday, occasional travel and weekend work required. We put in the Flexiteek covering boards and cockpit in Carolina Girl Sportfishing. Love how much action it sees!

Action packed day on the water. Caught a handful of wahoo (pulled off a dozen more), a couple tuna, released a barracuda, and caught some kings. For the grand fanaly we hooked a huge sailfish, but jumped him off before we got to the leader. We had a blast with you guys today and hope to see you next year!!
