📣 Our horses and goats have an important announcement to make:

they have a new pasture to graze! Big shout out to Plum Ridge Farms and Fence for another job well done.

This is a smaller field we will use to allow our main field time to rest, that runs along our driveway. I actually have a long-term plan of having this field available for a potential "petting zoo" if we ever end up doing u-pick or other agri-tourism events, but for now our herd is glad to have some extra forage and space to move around. If you're in our area and looking to have some fencing installed, give Bailey Holderfield a shout and he will get you taken care of!

My mustard greens are coming in nicely. I should have some ready to pick for market next week, plus radishes and hopefully a few other things.

We stay so busy around here and always feel like the to-do list is ten thousand miles long 😵‍💫 But I've been trying to focus my energy on fall plantings and getting things ready for fall harvests. Hopefully we'll have some fun updates to share in the next few weeks to finish out this growing season on a high note 🤞🏼

Finally, tomato time! 🍅🍅

My sauce tomatoes are loaded down and I've been pulling them periodically to ripen inside without the bug pressure, but this was the first week I've really gotten a good haul from my snacking varieties.

This all-natural cleaning spray is made with white vinegar that's been infused with lemon, orange, and grapefruit peel, then scented with lemon, lavender, and peppermint essential oil.

The natural citrus oils help dissolve kitchen grease and grime and remove hard water by breaking down soap scum and mineral spots in sinks and tubs. Use it on windows as a glass cleaner and in the oven and microwave to make your appliances shine. You can also use it to polish wood surfaces.
