These are available for pre-order now. I'll also be putting on our website so we can ship them.

These can be put on a 4" cork coaster and an 8" cork trivit. I also have these in color and might put on mugs and stickers.

So I saw something a while back talking about placing a wood spoon across the top of your pot when cooking things such as pasta or beans to prevent boil over. I never gave it much thought because I am not a proponent of cooking my cooking utensils. As in I never leave one in what is cooking or leave on top of the pot.

A couple days ago I had a eureka moment and first started 2 pots of beans on the stove and placed utensils on top of each pot. And sure enough as they where boiling and the foam started up and as soon as the foam touched the wood it retreated and went away.

So.......I made these.

Basically a pretty but sacrificial utensil that doesn't really matter how much it warps or whatever happens to it. Because its only job is to prevent boil over. Can't tell you how many times I have done that. Lol

All are the same size 12" x 3/4" x 3/8" but come in all types of woods and patterns.

Both woods are just fine out in our coastal weather. And should last decades.
