This custom wall hanging started life as an authentic Jim Beam bourbon barrel. After carefully preparing the barrel head, we transformed it into a personalized piece featuring the family’s passions—great wine, rock & roll, and their love for the Cleveland Browns.

Man… I had so much fun building this piece…
Yeah… not this time 😂

This boat rocker tested everything—patience, problem solving, and probably my sanity more a few times. What looks simple on the outside turned into a lot of head scratching, reworking, and “well that didn’t go as planned” moments.

But that’s kind of the reality of custom work… you don’t always know what you’re getting into until you’re in it.
And honestly? That’s also what makes it worth it.

Every curve, every joint, every little detail was fought for on this one—and I’m pretty proud of how it came out in the end.

Sometimes the projects that push you the hardest end up being the ones you’re most proud (and relieved) to hand off. I hope this little rocker brings joy to families for generations.
