Trash the Boring Office – Energize with a Decorative Bin Makeover! 💥

Well, Paint Me Green and Call Me Venice - Strange Ways of Showing Love for Mama Nature!

Ah, the lengths some will go to embrace the 'green' life! Take Venice, for instance. In a weird, unprecedented news story from NPR, a mystery environmental enthusiast decided to share their love for Mother Earth a little too literally, painting the iconic Venice canal water a bright, vibrant green! This outlandish stunt gave the 'City of Water' a whole new leprechaun-esque vibe that’s been, shall we say, dividing opinions.

Now, as much as we applaud the sentiment behind 'going green', here at Modern Environments, we'd like to remind everyone there are less conspicuous and, frankly, less messy ways to infuse some greenery into your life. We've just decked out the new offices of Sweden and Finland at the US NATO Base in Norfolk with demountable walls! Let's talk about kicking Russian aggression in style!

Finland and Sweden, once content with EU membership for security, have now rolled up sleeves and joined NATO, thanks to Putin's neighborhood bully act. We've seen Russia's play before - it’s a rerun of 1939's Winter War – and Finland and Sweden ain't buying what Putin's selling.

These two have always been the sensible ones in the room, prepping for trouble long before it came knocking. Finland has a stellar military, ready to rumble. It's mandatory military service, a horde of reservists, and engineers who could give MacGyver a run for his money.

Their NATO membership might be the wake-up call Moscow needed. It's a game-changer, and Russia's going to feel the heat. So here we are, throwing our lot in with our friends, supplying the comforts of home in the form of world-class furniture in the midst of global chaos.

How does Traverse City, Michigan throw a block party (hint, involves bears)? 🐻

A 350-pound bear decided to hold the 'best block party ever,' taking a siesta up in a tree on Mother’s Day. Yes, a bear! Spectators came out, phones overhead, eager to capture the snoozing spectacle.

Of course, wildlife experts came to the rescue, kindly sending our furry friend off to dreamland with a few carefully aimed darts. And here's where things get interesting: local hero, Ashlea Walter, hauled out mattresses from her house to cushion the bear's descent.

Imagine a world where our bear friend preferred to nap on one of our high-quality sleeper furniture pieces instead of tree branches. 🛏️
