I had the absolute pleasure of making this matching entry table for the same clients that received the recent entertainment center build.

The legs are poplar, joined with traditional joinery and some mechanical fasteners sprinkled in. The piece is tied together with a stained soft maple top and sealed with halcyon.

The customer had a very specific design in mind and I believe we achieved that vision. I now hope this will serve them well for many years to come.

I’ve been working on FINALLY getting this keepsake box done and got the splines in yesterday.

I struggled for a long time on what to use for the splines and finally decided on paduk. This box will be a seemingly random smattering of woods but I think it’s going to look pretty kickass.

I have a quick and easy trick for cutting these splines to share with you nerds so stay tuned 😎
