You'll want to see this on Thursday before it leaves Vermilion for Washington DC.

Come to Ritter Public Library this Thursday, September 16 from 2PM-7PM and see The Chairmaker & Friends' Garret Aston's 17th century style Wainscot chair. The "Ohio Chair" is an amazing example of craftsmanship built from Ohio Oak created right here in downtown Vermilion.

The chair Library will be presented to the National Society Colonial Dames 17th century in Washington, D.C. on October 8, 2021 where it will reside in the Heraldry Room of that museum, a gift from the Ohio Society of Colonial Dames that has many members from Vermilion.

Stop by, learn more and see this beautiful work that speaks to local talent and dedication.
