Chelsea and I are very excited to take our hobby of refinishing furniture to the next step and start a small business. After a long car ride to Lewiston for Thanksgiving with family we came up with the name Painted Wagon. We love this name as it brings images of an old wagon on the Oregon trail all the way to our kid's red wagon full of toys. We will be using this page to highlight our work, share

Do you have a tired, old piece of furniture? Throw on a quick layer of antique white paint and bring it back to life. This was a free book shelf, dark brown, covered in scratches. Now a nice accent piece to our living room.

So it has been a while but here is our newest before and after. We found this old piece in an antique store in Lewiston ID, and we thought it was awesome, but it was covered in this gross, dark lacquer that probably looked good many years ago. It's extremely old with hand-hewn dovetails and wooden keyholes. So we stripped away the old stuff and found beautiful wood underneath that just needed to show itself! Such a great piece!
