We had the most inspiring night celebrating our grant from Schnitzer Cares Student Grantmaking!

This remarkable program supports students as they articulate their area of interest and amplifies their fundraising so they can make an impactful award to nonprofits aligned with their goals. Students from Hillsboro High School awarded A Caring Closet $5,000 to support our continued growth so everyone can access the medical equipment they need 🩵 Cheers to thoughtful, compassionate young people - the future looks bright from here!

Here’s proof there is a great need in our community for A Caring Closet. Every time we open our warehouse doors, there’s already a line of people waiting to get in. Every. Single. Time.

Families, seniors, caregivers, and neighbors rely on us for essential durable medical equipment they simply can’t afford or access quickly enough. Wheelchairs, walkers, hospital beds, shower benches, and more are helping people regain dignity, mobility, and independence — at no cost.

Please support A Caring Closet because no one in our community should have to go without the equipment they need to heal, recover, or care for a loved one. Your donations, volunteer time, and support make this possible.

Doing some spring cleaning? If you have durable medical equipment taking up space in your storage area, garage, or closet, consider donating it to A Caring Closet! Your unused equipment can make a huge difference for someone in need in our community.

We’re proud to continue that mission by distributing thousands of pieces of equipment and saving our community millions of dollars—helping countless individuals live with greater dignity, comfort, and support.
