BAM!
My friend lex found this on the side of the road by our old apt on Lafayette street, we somehow shoved it in the back of his Jeep Liberty, and put it in my garage.
Over the last few weeks I have been refinishing it to put in our living room.
It was very sloppily painted yellow with latex paint. So I stripped that crap off and it actually had a pretty veneer underneath. Unfortunately, it was damaged and bubbling up, so that had to go too. Then I finally got to sand it down, paint it this pretty blue my husband picked, and clean up all of the handles. I only had to add two drawer pulls and new hinges.
Voila!
SO HAPPY with the way this turned out!
Martha would be proud. ❤

Sometimes we refinish furniture for ourselves!
Bought this old beat up dresser for $25 at Vintage 33 as a "diy" project and made it new again.
I really liked the odd dusty red color it was already. So I sanded it down, "weathered" the wood, added some pink tones, painted it white and distressed it. Then lined the drawers and added new hardware, voila! Good as new! And perfect for our daughters mermaid themed nursery with the pops of color hidden on the drawers.

A new "makeover" project that I am very excited about is coming soon!
We recently purchased an older piece of furniture and will be working on giving it a new life in the coming weeks.
