Briscoe Marketplace is owned by Deb Arnold who has been salvaging antique, rustic and vintage furniture, decor, and other items for 30 years. Some items I salvage are perfect just the way they are, whether it's rust or some other character developed by age and circumstance. Other items, I transform into modern home pieces using paint techniques I've perfected over many years. If there is a pearl t

My store was open seven years before I decided to add Home DeCor I purchase from Wholesale Markets. I was very hesitant in this decision as I am a "JuNker" at heart. This has been a very successful addition to Briscoe Marketplace, but I am very choosy adding only New "Old DeCor" as I call it. These items must fit my Love of JuNk DeCor, and are complementary one with the other. I invite you to stop, and browse if ever in Silverton, Texas.

Our Oklahoma home sold and Wednesday Jess and Sally came to load me up. Jason, Dawson, Tray and Payton also came with Sally. Dawson went to Texas yesterday and will fly home later. As I let y'all know a few months ago I'd made my decision to move to Sally's in Tennessee. Today Poke has been gone eighteen months. His wish for me to do exactly this has happened. I am ready and both our kids are happy for my decision. I will hang back here a couple weeks tying up loose ends as house closing day approaches. If y'all haven't already begin, give your gift of Love and visits, instead of presents to the older ones in your family. The Bible teaches we do not know what tomorrow will bring. I love you all and will always miss Silverton, Texas. ❤️ I'll miss my family here. ❤️ Merry Christmas Y'all 🎄

Hello My JuNkin Peeps! 😊 It's been a tad over four months now and thought I'd let ya know I'm doing good. 😘 I've completely picked my hand-did Pumpkin Patch. 🤣 Took this last harvest to my booth today. There's plenty of time for pumpkin decor now through Thanksgiving. It has helped my spirits to decorate the house for Fall this season. Morning My JuNkin Peeps!
Yesterday I was in backyard at the well house washin junk for my booth. Needed to place off grass to dry, what better place then here. 😊 The last few days I've begin to live life without Poke 😢 I will miss him forever. He was my Cowboy! A good one at that from riding saddle broncs when we married, to NFR steer roping in 1984. ❤️ He was not a JuNker like me as y'all know 😆 but... he was my #1 helper in the store when I needed to go junkin. He Loved helping customers and visiting. He'd tell me "Deb, I can write a ticket only if it has a price on it." ✔️ That was good with me as he had no clue how to price anything. He never could understand why someone would pay good money for a rusty bucket with holes in it. 🤣 Only us JuNkers!! He knew cattle, I knew JuNk! On a bad cattle year I'd tell'em I could have bought JuNk with our losses. He'd smile and he'd buy cattle, and I'd buy JuNk! We both loved what we did. Poke left me his memories, mostly good and some not so good in our early years. Ya see, we were just babies when the Cowboy married the Hillbilly. 😍 I was barely eighteen and he just turned twenty. This August would have been fifty-three years we grew up together. ❤️ I would never have done this with anyone else! Our infatuation grew into true love 💘 So now I'm on my journey without Poke. Because he was so very strong and always faithful to God during his long health battle, he taught me how to win my battles. Always keep God first!! 🙏 Thank you My Junkin Peeps for praying for Poke. I love you all, deb ❤️

With my sad heart, I tell you Poke passed 6-20-24. He fought the good fight and kept his faith strong. Beginning three years ago he battled pancreatic cancer and won. ❤️ Poke's last seventeen month's, he battled a severed bile duct from gallbladder surgery, which caused chirossis of the liver. He lost that battle but in the end he WON! The Lord took him home. I will miss him dearly the remaining days of my life. I will find comfort knowing he is now free of all pain and suffering. We appreciated you're many prayers for Poke's healing. God bless you all. I love each one of you, deb ♥️

I Love it! I told Bubba I needed a stand I could roll around for our flat grill. My first idea didn't work out so he says " I'm going to the JuNk pile mom." 🙃 Here he comes back with this homemade RuSty barrel grill. ✔️ The photos show his plan and it ended up AweSoMe!! He did replace the wheels so it would roll perfectly. ❤️ (after a good scrubbing I clear coated)

Few days ago we had over 4" of rain. I was able to barely capture this rainbow outback. Its just impossible to capture the rainbows in full view here, as I did so many times living in Silverton, TX. I'm loving all the trees here so I'll just need take two pictures to getter done. 🌈 ❤️
