Asking for thoughts and prayers. My best friend and partner Jacob Mauney took a really bad fall off of a ladder on Tuesday and broke several bones in his Calcaneus, (left foot heel). It's one of the hardest bones in the body to break and not a fast healing bone. The Orthopedic Doctor told us we might as well consider being out for the remainder of 2023. We had his CT scan done yesterday and have an appointment this week to meet with another Ortho doctor to talk about surgery and options. He will have to have surgery but we won't know the extent until we speak with the doctor and see the CT scans. It's been an incredibly hard year for both of us but this just threw a wrench in our plans for the rest of the year. I know my Jacob is tough and super resilient but please keep us in your thoughts and prayers and if you've ordered furniture from us, bare with us, he's teaching me and with some patience and help from family and friends, I'll get it finished.
