The award-winning Urbana’s Market at the Square returns on Saturday, May 2, 2026, kicking off another exciting season of fresh food, local shopping, and community fun. Considered the top farmers market to visit in Illinois, the Market is located at the corner of Illinois and Vine Streets and takes place rain or shine every Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon through October 2026.

Now celebrating its 47th year, Urbana’s Market at the Square has been a beloved Saturday tradition since 1979. With more than 150 vendors, shoppers can explore Illinois-grown produce, beautiful plants and flowers, farm-fresh meats, eggs, honey, baked goods, handmade art and crafts, and a delicious lineup of food trucks with something for every taste.

“This is going to be another great season for Urbana’s Market at the Square,” said Bryan Heaton, Market Coordinator. “We invite everyone to come out and enjoy fresh local food, talented artisans, engaging community organizations, and all your favorite food trucks.”

The vendors at Urbana’s Market at the Square will accept cash, many accept credit and debit cards, and some accept electronic payment. Customers can use their Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits by bringing their LINK card to the information tent on the north row of the Market. For every SNAP dollar redeemed, shoppers will receive a $1 match to spend on fresh, local produce.

Hey friends, just wanted to remind you that there are two indoor winter markets left we will be there this Saturday the 18th We will take next Saturday off and then the outdoor market season begins the first Saturday of May.
Just a reminder that the market this Saturday is going to be held in the common grounds Hall area. There's another event going on so all of us will be next to common grounds.
We will also just be bringing dog biscuits this Saturday.

We're celebrating St Patrick's today tomorrow with a special for your pup.
The winter market is located inside Lincoln square Mall and we will be there from 8:00 a.m. till noon.

This weekend is the Illinois 2026 product expo.
This year it will be in the expo building at the Illinois State fairgrounds both Saturday and Sunday. Come by and see us get your favorite dog biscuits and lots of other fabulous goodies that are Illinois made. Such items as soap, salsas, pickles, caramels, baked goods, woodworking, household products. Everything is made by Illinois Small Business owners.
We will be on the main floor of the expo building but on the upper level this year will be Illinois wineries
The cost is just $5 and you can sample lots of goodies.
If you go upstairs to the wine and beer I know that's a separate charge but you get several tickets for that charge to sample all different types of wine.
