We are a week late for the tomato festival 🤣
Our Heirloom Dr Wyches, Kellogg and Pineapple tomatoes are starting to ripen up. These are known for their meatiness, sweetness and low acidity! They are a favorite around here. We also have Cherokee purple and beefsteaks along with cherry tomatoes (Sungold, black cherry and super sweet 100).

Guess what we’re making??? Our famous candied jalapeños!! They are a customer favorite! We always sell out. These won’t last long so we have been making several batches to hopefully get us through til we make more. But don’t worry, we have PLENTY of jalapeños!

Great on burgers, tacos, hot dogs, pizza, and charcuterie boards!! If you like sweet and spicy, you’ll love these!! And when the jar is empty, use the leftover brine on your chicken wings.

FYI, you may find these on the shelf of a local market soon! In the meantime you can message us to get a jar or two or three.

Our market garden isn’t just growing flowers and vegetables—it’s growing life. 🪺

These sweet baby house finches found a safe place to call home here at Hudson Blooms, and watching them grow has been just as rewarding as harvesting our veggies and flowers. This is our second nestling of house finches.

We believe that farming is about more than producing food. By growing without pesticides or harsh chemicals and caring for the land, we hope to create a space where pollinators, birds, and wildlife can thrive alongside our crops.

Every bloom, every harvest, and every tiny set of wings reminds us why we love what we do.

We want to take you on a little tour and show you what’s growing and how we grow our flowers and vegetables here at Hudson Blooms.

One thing that makes our farm a little different is that we use the no-till method. Instead of turning or tilling the soil every season, we leave the soil structure intact. This helps protect beneficial organisms like earthworms and microbes, reduces erosion, improves water retention, and builds healthier, more fertile soil over time. Healthy soil grows healthy plants!

We also never use pesticides or synthetic chemicals on our flowers or vegetables. Instead, we focus on creating healthy soil from the ground up.

Each season, we amend our beds with high-quality organic compost from a local company, along with our own homemade compost made right here on the farm. Compost naturally feeds the soil, encourages beneficial microbes, and helps our plants thrive.

We believe that caring for the soil is the foundation for growing beautiful flowers and delicious, fresh vegetables.

While we are a very small, family run farm, we can bust out a lot of produce and flowers from this little plot.

Whether you visit us at the Historic Lewes Farmers Market each week or place an order through our Facebook order form, your continued support means more to our family than you know.

Every bouquet, every dozen eggs, every basket of vegetables, and every kind word helps support our small farm and encourages us to keep growing.

We’re incredibly grateful that you’ve chosen to support local and trust us to provide fresh, naturally grown flowers and produce for your family. Knowing that our hard work is appreciated makes all the early mornings and late evenings worth it.
