Shop Saturday, replacing this horrible contractor job they did on my stairs. They put massive nails in the bullnose and the bullnose isn’t even even with the tread. Making my own tread with resawn white oak and some plywood backer. I’ll be doing a more modern square bullnose end… stay tuned for the finish.

Sometimes it’s nice to take a break from the new and repair the old. Restored this old file cabinet, replaced some rotten oak, new top, polished some brass and fought the urge to use new drawer slides. The customer wanted a folding shelf added.
