Thursday update from Nichole Blevins in Rome, Italy.
The waiting game continues after 11-year-old Branson Blevins of Robertsdale, AL underwent a bone marrow transplant weeks ago.
This week, the family is waiting for Nicholeโs cells to do their thing and help Branson bounce back as he fights Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
Writes Nichole:
โClinically, Branson is holding steady.
His white blood cell count is at 200, which means his body is still working hard behind the scenes to rebuild.
He is still battling extreme fatigue, upset stomach and the painful effects of mucositis.
โThese days have been so tough on him but we are clinging to the hope that his body is using this time to strengthen his immune system and begin fighting off this virus.
โPlease keep lifting Branson up in your prayersโฆfor comfort, healing, and endurance. Every single prayer and word of encouragement means so much to us, and to him.
โWe love you all and are so thankful to have you walking alongside us through this journey. ๐งกโ
As the days continue to be long, lets not forget what Branson is going through.
Heโs fighting every day and every hour in a small hospital room in Italy with no air conditioning.
Letโs cover Branson in prayer.
Letโs show the world we are behind him!
