Latest project, rustic spalted maple kitchen. All maple sawn from 42 inch diameter maple tree next to 1850's farmhouse. Island slab also from tree. This was fun!

I'm sometimes asked, "why would someone spend the money for custom cabinetry"?
For one example, we can offer wood choices and grains not otherwise available, such as these spalted maple doors with bookmatched grain patterns. The panels are made from wood slabs split in half on the bandsaw to open like a book with a mirrored matching grain. Very time consuming but spectacular effect!

Basswood rounds work great for the laser. Made this earlier in the week. I can do pet portraits on these also.

I'm often asked " why would someone spend the money to have custom built cabinetry?" so here's an example. These tiger maple panels will be installed in cherry door frames, then mounted on cabinet boxes built from North American made 3/4" maple plywood boxes that are screwed not stapled together. You won't find these at any big box store!
