Haakenson

Haakenson What makes Haakenson different: 1) Solution based, not brand based approach. 2) Up front pricing 3) No pricing games. If we forget something, we pay for it.

Haakenson, in business since 1982, started by providing furnishings and related services to various Federal Government agencies. We developed a wide breadth of expertise from the many disciplines within the Government. This entailed military, top secret, emergency operations centers, fire stations, dormitories, administrative, educational, healthcare and research centers. The varying project timel

ines made us flexible, creative and deadline conscious. We’ve outfitted everyone from a 4-Star general to a private first class. We’re now applying this knowledge to public and private entities across the state. Experience navigating bureaucracy and our diverse past projects has translated well to the entire market. Competitive pricing comes naturally because Government work organically created in us a low cost model. Working within established supply contracts and enormous organizations prepared us for any complex institution. Our increasing partnership with the A&D community and ability to adapt to any situation are proving valuable assets in responsibly and gradually growing our business without degrading the level of service that our existing customers have come to expect. Below we’ve listed a few key points that make us different.

* Solution based, not brand based approach. We listen first then offer products that meet aesthetic, functional, and budgetary goals.
* Up front pricing. Our price from day one, based on volume, does not change because a project goes out to bid.
* No change orders. It is our responsibility to clearly outline what is included in our pricing quotes. Period.
* Great service. Anyone can deliver an initial project; we pride ourselves on maintaining satisfaction through the furniture’s lifetime. We don’t disappear once a project is complete.

Check out Haakenson's latest project: Everett Clinic's Smokey Point location. Thank you Sozinho Imagery for taking such great pictures

Clinics have come a long way from the old medical buildings of the past. This Everett Clinic in Smokey Point was designed by ZGF. I shot the space the day before they opened for Haakenson http://www.hgoffice.com/sw/swchannel/homepage/internet/schomepage.asp?traffictype=Direct and Knoll http://www.knoll.com/knoll_home.jsp. I drove by the next day and the placed was packed.
