Here’s something kind of wild to think about…

Troy Furniture has been in business since 1869.

That’s 156 years.

We opened our doors just a few years after the Civil War ended. Since then, the world has seen the invention of the light bulb, automobiles, airplanes, two World Wars, the Great Depression, the moon landing, and the rise of the internet. Businesses have come and gone. Main Streets have changed. But, through all of it, we’re still here, right on Main Street.

We’re the fourth family to own this store, and the second generation in our family to carry it forward. That history means something to us. And we feel a responsibility to protect what was built before us and make it stronger for the next generation.

We’re family owned. Local. And while we’re not a chain store, we have a 30,000 square foot showroom serving families across Lincoln County and beyond.

What we’re most proud of isn’t just the number of years.

For over a century and a half, this community has supported this business and we’ve worked to give back in return. Schools. Churches. Youth sports. Local fundraisers. Families walking through hard seasons. If you’ve been around Troy long enough, you’ve probably seen us show up.

We believe when a business is rooted in a town, it should invest in that town.

Generations have trusted us to furnish their first apartments, forever homes, lake houses, nurseries, and everything in between. Now we’re helping the kids and grandkids of those same families.

156 years later, we’re still family owned.
Still growing.
Still grateful.
