I am humbled and honored to announce that I will be seeking your vote for Gibson County Sheriff in the August 2026 General Election.

Serving others is not just what I do—it is who I am. Gibson County is my home: where my family was raised, where my values were shaped, and where my heart has always been. Now, I feel called to give back to the community that has given so much to me.

While we have much to be proud of as a county, there is important work ahead. As your next Sheriff, I will lead with integrity, faith, family, and community at the center of every decision. This new year brings an opportunity for leadership that is both humble and strong.

My name is Bryan Cook. I have been married to my wife for 25 years, and we have two sons. I attended Trenton Peabody, graduated from Milan High School, and earned a degree in Criminal Justice. I have proudly served as a first responder for 27 years, beginning as a volunteer and continuing as a Tennessee State Trooper.

I am currently deputized with the U.S. Marshals and serve on the Memphis Safe Task Force, working alongside Homeland Security, the FBI, DEA, ATF, Border Patrol, TBI, and law enforcement professionals across our state and nation. Throughout my career, I have received extensive specialized training and served as a fi****ms instructor and emergency vehicle operations instructor, training Milan Police Officers, Gibson County Deputies, and Tennessee Highway Patrol Troopers.

With your support, I will bring experience, proven leadership, and a forward-thinking approach to the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office. More importantly, I will bring a commitment to honesty, transparency, accountability, and community involvement.

A vote for Cook is a vote you can trust. I will be present in our neighborhoods, at our churches, at community events, and working alongside our deputies shoulder to shoulder with those who serve and protect. I believe strongly in teamwork and will continue strengthening partnerships with local police, fire, and EMS agencies because public safety is a shared responsibility.

Keeping Gibson County safe will always be my highest priority, and I will never forget who I work for—the people of this county.
I humbly ask for your prayers, your vote, and your involvement. Thank you for your support. Together, we can move the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office forward.
