HELP WANTED
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mill Worker to join our team. As a Mill Worker, you will be responsible for operating various power and hand tools and machinery to fabricate and machine materials. This warehouse-based role requires proficiency in carpentry, machining, and the ability to read AutoCAD drawings. Forklift operation experience is also preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Operate power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders to cut and shape materials
- Use hand tools to assemble and fasten parts
- Operate machinery such as CNC machines to fabricate and machine materials
- Read and interpret AutoCAD drawings to ensure accurate measurements and specifications
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary adjustments
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with power tools and hand tools in a manufacturing or construction environment
- Proficiency in carpentry techniques such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
- Experience operating forklifts is preferred
- Familiarity with machining processes and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings
- Basic programming skills for CNC machines is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects when necessary
- Must possess a valid driver's license and dependable transportation
